George Reiger from Bethlehem, PA, is known in the world of tattoos for being the Disney Tattoo man. Despite having spent years getting his Disney tattoo collection, he’s now going to have the tattoos removed.
According to an article on the Philadelphia Inquirer’s web site, George Reiger, 56, is planning to have tattoo removal on his whole body for more than 2,000 tattoos. The reason for the big change is not medical and he’s not fallen out with Disney. He wants to go through the tattoo removal process because he has fallen in love.

George has been married six times previously, but according to the article, the relationships were not happy ones. Out of frustration and loneliness, George turned to the Disney characters to make him feel better and each Disney tattoo was a bit of comfort and happiness.
Now that George has met a new partner that makes him really happy and that he is in a positive relationship, he no longer needs the Disney tattoos to feel better.
But where to you start when you have so many tattoos to remove. People who have gone through tattoo removal will tell you that it takes time and dedication. George has 2,075 characters, Snow White, Bambi, Donald, Baloo, Captain Hook, Flower, even the 101 Dalmatians! He also has 325 cast members, 59 rides, 40 logos and 13 hidden little Mickey Mouse tattooed on his body from head to toe. He spent about 200,000 US dollars on all these tattoos.
How could he possibly have all this tattoos removed? It would take years and hundreds of thousands of dollars. Let’s hope that he can be happy in his new relationship and happy to keep his tattoos and his passion for Disney.
