A design student has found a great way of getting cheaper beer at his local pub. He’s agreed to have a logo of his favourite drink on his leg and will get 20% off all his drinks orders from now on.

Robert Hanson, 20, has earned a lifetime’s discount on his favourite brand of beer after agreeing to get the tattoo. He knows quite a lot about design and he’s very pleased to have the brand’s logo on his leg.

Robert follows in the footsteps of other tattoo fans who opted to get brands and logos tattooed on their body. What does he get out of it? He will have a lifetime supply of cheaper beer at his local pub and this alone was enough to make Robert Hanson get the new tattoo. He also loves the design. He will now get 20 per cent off rounds of BrewDog for the rest of his life. Now he will have to watch his purse as he will need to save up to get more tattoos in future to pay for bread and toothpaste.

The new tattoo is a proof or loyalty card at a new BrewDog pub which has just opened in the former Chasers Bar unit in the Cowgate.

If you think that Robert got inked only because he loves beer too much, think again. The art lover says that the design of the logo is exactly what he wanted in a tattoo – bold design, lovely curves and a great look. Therefore, he should not need to have the tattoo removed if he ever wants to give up drinking beer.
